This Privacy Policy sets forth how we handle user information and data in the application “ClipPace” provided by us (the “Service”).
Our website referenced from the Service may provide access to the Terms of Service, this Policy, notices, and, optionally, a support inquiry form. Unless otherwise specified, information submitted through the inquiry form will be handled in accordance with this Policy.
Article 1 Handling of Video and Audio Data
Videos, audio, thumbnails, editing settings, and other user-generated content imported, created, edited, or exported in the Service (collectively, “User Content”) are processed and stored on the user’s device. We do not transmit or store User Content on our servers.
However, if the user saves or shares content using operating system sharing functions, the Photos app, the Files app, iCloud, the share sheet, or if the user enables cloud integration or similar features under Article 4, such content may be transmitted to or stored on third-party servers, such as Apple’s servers, within the scope of such user operation or feature.
Article 2 Limited Purpose of Data Use
User Content and related data handled by the Service are used only within the scope necessary to provide and support the Service’s features, including video speed changes, preview, audio processing, export, saving, and sharing.
This Article does not restrict the collection and handling of information other than User Content in connection with analytics, in-app purchases, inquiries, feedback, and similar matters set forth in Articles 5 through 7.
Article 3 No Provision of Data to Third Parties
We do not provide or share User Content with third parties.
However, if the user explicitly saves or shares content, such as saving to the Photos app, saving to the Files app, or sharing through the operating system share sheet, or if the user enables cloud integration or similar features under Article 4, such content may be provided to third parties, such as Apple, within the scope of such user operation or feature.
Article 4 Cloud Integration and Similar Features
In future updates, we may introduce iCloud integration or similar features related to project history, editing settings, settings synchronization based on purchase status, and similar data.
In such case, only if the user enables the feature in the app settings, related data may be transmitted from the user’s device to the cloud, stored in the cloud, and synchronized across the user’s own devices. When such features are introduced, we will revise this Policy and obtain any necessary consent as appropriate.
Article 5 App Analytics
The Service may use the following analytics service for feature improvement and issue analysis.
• Firebase Analytics (Google LLC)
Information collected may include events related to device and app usage, and is not intended to directly identify individuals. If consent is required under applicable regional laws, such analytics will be performed based on consent.
Article 6 Information Related to In-App Purchases
The Service may provide paid features using Apple’s App Store in-app purchase functionality.
Purchase processing, payment information, payment methods, billing information, and similar information are handled by Apple. We do not obtain or store credit card numbers, payment methods, billing information, or similar payment details.
To provide paid features, confirm purchase status, restore purchases, prevent fraud, and respond to support inquiries, we may check information such as purchased product IDs, purchase status, active subscription status, transaction IDs, purchase dates, renewal status, and expiration or revocation status.
Such information is used only within the scope necessary to provide paid features, confirm purchase status, restore purchases, prevent fraud, respond to inquiries, and operate the Service.
