This Privacy Policy describes how we handle user information and data in the application “KeeperTake” (the “Service”). Our website is used to publish the Terms of Use, this Privacy Policy, and notices, and may also provide an optional contact form for support. Unless otherwise stated, information submitted via the contact form is handled under this Privacy Policy.

Article 1 (Handling of Image and Video Data)

Image and video data imported, generated, or edited within the Service (“User Content”) are processed entirely on the user’s device. We do not transmit or store User Content on our servers.
However, third parties may receive User Content when the user explicitly shares/exports it using OS-provided features, or when the user enables optional cloud integration as described in Article 4.

Article 2 (Limited Purpose of Data Use)

User Content and related data are used only to provide and support the Service’s core functionality, such as creating, editing, converting, exporting, saving, and sharing outputs on the user’s device.
This Article does not restrict the collection and processing of non-content data described in Articles 5–7 (e.g., inquiries/feedback, analytics, and advertising where applicable).

Article 3 (Prohibition of Third-party Data Provision)

We do not share User Content with third parties.
Third parties may receive User Content only when the user explicitly shares/exports it (e.g., saving to Photos or sharing via the OS share sheet), or when the user enables optional cloud integration as described in Article 4.

Article 4 (Regarding iCloud Integration)
Future updates of the Service may introduce iCloud integration for features such as project-history management. If enabled in the app settings, relevant data may be transmitted from the user's device to servers managed by Apple and securely stored there. Additionally, this data will be synchronized across multiple user devices through the user's personal iCloud account.

Article 5 (Contact and Feedback)

The Service may provide (i) a web contact form and (ii) an in-app feedback feature for responding to inquiries and improving the Service. The current third-party service providers used for these functions are disclosed on the following page:
https://www.codepaint.app/third-party-services-keepertake

  1. Web contact form: Information submitted via the contact form may be received and stored by third-party cloud service providers for the purpose of responding to inquiries.

  2. In-app feedback: Feedback submissions may be received and stored by third-party cloud service providers for service improvement. Submissions may include technical metadata such as app version, device model, and OS version.

  3. Legal basis: We process inquiry/feedback data under our legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) and/or based on user consent where required by applicable law.

  4. Retention: In principle, inquiry/feedback data is retained for up to 6 months after resolution/receipt (except where longer retention is required by law). We will respond as promptly as reasonably possible to deletion requests.

  5. Please do not submit unnecessary personal information (e.g., name, address, contact details, facial images). If we confirm such information was submitted, we will delete it without delay where feasible.

Article 6 (App Analytics)
To improve functionality and troubleshoot issues, the Service may use analytics services such as Firebase Analytics (Google LLC) and Mixpanel (Mixpanel, Inc.). The collected information consists of device/app usage events and is not intended to directly identify users. Where required by local laws, analytics runs based on user consent.

Article 7 (Advertising)
The Service may deliver advertisements via Google AdMob. For details on the information collected, purposes of use, and sharing with third parties, please refer to Google’s policies:
AdMob Program Policies: https://support.google.com/admob/answer/48182
Advertising Technologies: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads?hl=en

Article 8 (GDPR Compliance)
We comply with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and process the data of users residing within the European Economic Area (EEA) fairly and lawfully. Users have the right under GDPR to access, rectify, or request deletion of their personal data, and we will implement necessary measures accordingly.

Support inquiries, which may contain the sender’s name or email address, are processed on the basis of our legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) and are deleted within 6 months after the inquiry is resolved, or sooner upon the user’s request.

Article 9 (CCPA Compliance)

We comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA for users residing in California. We do not sell users’ personal information. If we enable advertising or analytics features that may constitute “sharing” under the CPRA, we will provide an appropriate method for users to opt out of such selling or sharing, and we will respond appropriately to user requests for disclosure or deletion of their personal information as required by law.

Article 10 (Changes to the Privacy Policy)
We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy as necessary. Significant changes will be communicated through our website or within the application, and the revised policy will be effective immediately upon posting.

Article 11 (Contact Information)
For questions regarding this Privacy Policy, inquiries about data handling, or to exercise rights under GDPR or CCPA, please contact us via the inquiry form provided on our website. We will respond appropriately to your request.
