This Privacy Policy sets forth how Codepaint Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles user information and data in the application “BeatLuster” provided by us (the “Service”).
Our website referenced from the Service may provide access to the Terms of Service, this Policy, notices, and, optionally, a support inquiry form. Unless otherwise specified, information submitted through the inquiry form will be handled in accordance with this Policy.

Article 1 Handling of User Content

Audio, artwork, project data, thumbnails, previews, videos, editing settings, and other production content imported, created, edited, or exported in the Service, excluding the information described in Articles 4 through 6 (collectively, “User Content”), are processed on the user’s device, and data that needs to be stored is stored on the device. We do not transmit or store User Content on servers operated by us or by external service providers used by us.

However, if the user uses operating system saving or sharing functions, User Content may be transmitted to or stored in the Photos app, the Files app, the share sheet, or another storage destination or sharing destination selected by the user, within the scope of such user operation.

Article 2 Limited Purpose of Data Use

User Content and related data handled by the Service are used only within the scope necessary to provide and support the Service’s features, including audio analysis, generation of visual expressions, project editing, preview, video export, saving, and sharing.

This Article does not restrict the collection and handling of information other than User Content in connection with app analytics and operation, in-app purchases, inquiries, feedback, and similar matters set forth in Articles 4 through 6.

​Article 3 No Provision of User Content to Third Parties

We do not provide or share User Content with third parties.

However, if the user explicitly saves or shares User Content, such as saving to the Photos app, saving to the Files app, or sharing through the operating system share sheet, such User Content may be provided to third parties within the scope of such user operation.

​Article 4 App Analytics and Operation

For feature improvement, issue analysis, provision of paid features, confirmation of purchase status, fraud prevention, and other purposes necessary for operating the Service, the Service may use Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and other Firebase services provided by Google LLC.

In connection with use of the Service, randomly generated identifiers, app usage information, purchase and entitlement status, app version, device, operating system and language information, crash information, and other diagnostic information may be automatically transmitted and stored. Such information will be used only within the scope of the purposes described in the preceding paragraph.

The use of such identifiers does not constitute user-facing account registration using a name or email address. We handle such information in accordance with applicable laws.

Article 5 Information Related to In-App Purchases

The Service may provide paid features using Apple’s App Store in-app purchase functionality.

Purchase processing, payment information, payment methods, billing information, and similar information are handled by Apple. We do not obtain or store credit card numbers, payment methods, billing information, or similar payment details.

To provide paid features, confirm purchase status, restore purchases, prevent fraud, and respond to support inquiries, we may check information such as purchased product IDs, purchase status, active subscription status, transaction IDs, purchase dates, renewal status, and expiration or revocation status.

Such information is used only within the scope necessary to provide paid features, confirm purchase status, restore purchases, prevent fraud, respond to inquiries, and operate the Service.

Article 6 Inquiries and Feedback

1. Inquiries through Web Form

   Questions and comments regarding the Service may be submitted through the form on our website. We collect information entered and submitted through the form for the purpose of responding to inquiries. Submitted content may be received and stored through services provided by external service providers selected by us.

2. Feedback in the App

   The Service may allow users to submit feedback from within the app for feature improvement. Contact information, such as an email address, is not required. Submitted content may be received and stored through services provided by external service providers selected by us.

   Submitted content may include information relating to the app version, device and operating system, purchase status, app usage, and settings.

3. Inclusion of Personal Information

   Please refrain from including unnecessary personal information, such as addresses or face photos. Even if such information is included, we will not use it for purposes other than responding to inquiries or improving the Service.

Article 7 External Services, Retention, and Deletion

1. The providers of external services used by us, the purposes for which such services are used, and the categories of information handled are disclosed on the BeatLuster Third-Party Services page on our website.

2. We confirm that external service providers handling user information provide a level of protection equivalent to that required under this Policy and applicable laws.

3. Information we collect is retained for the period necessary based on achievement of the purposes of use, legal obligations, or retention settings of the external services used. When such information is no longer necessary, we will delete it or take other necessary measures in accordance with applicable laws.

4. To the extent permitted by applicable laws, users may request disclosure, correction, deletion, or suspension of use of their user information. Such requests may be submitted through the contact point described in Article 9.

Article 8 Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may change this Policy as necessary. If there are material changes, we will notify users in the app or on our website, and the revised Policy will apply from the time it is posted.
